Over the Edge
Over the Edge 2025 was an incredible homecoming! On June 7, over 60 participants, including individual fundraisers, event sponsors, Duke Children's families and providers, rappelled 11 stories Over the Edge of our inpatient home, Duke Central Tower on the Duke Medical Center Campus. Fundraising efforts and sponsor support from Over the Edge resulted in $103,838 raised for clinical care, pediatric research, and provider education at Duke Children's. An enormous THANK YOU to all our participants, sponsors, and volunteers who came together to make the day a success.

We have enjoyed many years of successful Over the Edge events for Duke Children’s, and we are excited to now focus our efforts on Duke Rides! On October 3, 2026, Duke Health will host the inaugural Duke Rides indoor cycling event on Duke University’s West Campus. This inspiring day will bring together patients, survivors, families, care teams, and supporters to raise critical funds for adult and pediatric cancer research at Duke.
