The ‘Jump for the Children’ Horse Show is one of the largest hunter/jumper shows in North Carolina and a favorite of competitors and spectators alike. Going strong for 42 years, this incredible event has raised more than $3 million for Duke Children’s. In 2025, the event is moving to Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina!
In 2017, a second weekend was added to ‘Jump for the Children’ to give even more people a chance to participate and help raise even more funds for Duke Children’s. Each event includes favorites like lead-line class, the stick-horse class and the crowd pleasing Grand Prix. Plus there are many shopping opportunities for those interested in horse supplies and other local goods. Mark your calendar and get ready for a weekend of gorgeous ponies and horses, and wonderful entertainment.
