Trainee Research Awards

CMN Hospitals funding supports trainee research awards. These awards are given specifically to current medical students to enable them to begin research projects that can garner additional funding from outside entities. 

2023 projects include:

• A research study on weight stigma and its impact in pediatric healthcare settings
• A study to improve vaccine-aided immunity in children who have received organ transplants at Duke
• A study on Anti-MOG antibodies in pediatric inflammatory demyelination

These student researchers are the pediatric providers of tomorrow!
