Corporate Philanthropy

Eat and Shop to Support Duke Children's!

An enormous part of CMN Hospitals fundraising is the dollar-by-dollar efforts via CMN Hospitals corporate partners, including point-of-sale fundraising (round-up or donate-at-the-register campaigns), coupon campaigns, and creative events, including bake sales, golf tournaments, car shows, and more. This has resulted in $47,945,174.07 raised for Duke Children’s, often one dollar at a time.

Partners have national days, weekends, or even months benefitting CMN Hospitals. Campaigns happen year-round, and businesses constantly make a difference for their local children’s hospital.

CMN Hospitals has dozens of local, regional, and national corporate partners, all of which fundraise for their local children’s hospital. Examples include big box stores such as Walmart & Sam’s Club and Costco, gas stations such as Speedway and Love’s Travel Stops, specialty shops such as Ace Hardware, restaurants such as Dairy Queen, and real estate agencies such as RE/MAX. Smaller local or regional businesses can get involved, too.

How can you get involved? When out running errands, look for the yellow and red Miracle Balloon at a business in the Triangle, Triad, Fayetteville, or Wilmington regions. These businesses are actively supporting Duke Children’s. Ask an associate at the register how you can give to their campaign. Check this page or follow our social media for updates on active campaigns and CMN Hospitals partner activities.
