Duke Children's Charity Stripe Challenge

Thank you for participating in the 2023-2024 Charity Stripe Challenge!

Celebrating three seasons, this fundraising initiative combines the power and passion of Duke Men's Basketball with a highly engaging fundraising campaign to benefit Duke Children’s. Fans can show their support for Duke Children's by joining the Charity Stripe Challenge Fan Pledge! Choose a fixed amount to pledge for every free throw made by the Blue Devils during the season, or choose to make a one-time gift to show their support. At the end of the season, the total pledges make a significant impact for the patients at Duke Children’s!

Free throws made this season: 524

Dollars raised for Duke Children's this season: $146,980

At every Men’s Basketball home game during the season, a different Duke personality or celebrity guest walks out on the court with the game host, steps up to the “charity stripe” and attempts a foul shot to help raise money for Duke Children’s. A made shot earns $1,000 and a missed shot is worth $500. Past year's shooters have included J.J. Redick, Mike Dunleavy, Steve Wojciechowski, Jabari Parker, Coach Mike Elko, Marshall Plumlee, and Grayson Allen.

We are also looking for Game Hosts to sponsor games throughout the season!
